For your first appointment, we reserve 45 minutes. In this process, we will take stock of your entire oral health, and you will meet your dentist in detail. With us, you will always have a regular dentist. Together we go over your oral health history and discuss issues that are important to you.
Assessment Oral Health
Overview photographs are taken to get a good view of the entire mouth. Also consider specific x-rays of the roots and jaw for a proper assessment of your oral health.
Rating Gums
Next, the dentist assesses the condition of your gums. This is called the periodontium. The jawbone is also viewed and assessed. This is in collaboration with our dental hygienists, who provide education on proper dental and gum care.
Establishing Treatment Plan
If oral complaints or conditions are identified at the initial consultation, a treatment plan will be developed immediately in consultation with you.
This plan always covers the long term so that you can benefit from it throughout your life. This long term is different for each person, but always assumes lasting oral health for many years.
Interventions and treatments to achieve this may therefore also extend over several years. This benefits the results! We also help you determine insurance terms for major procedures or, for example, braces.
